How Do I Get Paid on MUGO? (As a Seller)?
When you sell on MUGO via M4B (MUGO for Business), your payments are processed securely through the platform. Here's how it works:
✅ 1. Customer Makes a Purchase
The buyer places an order and pays using available methods such as Mobile Money, debit/credit cards, etc. The payment goes to MUGO’s secure system—not directly to your account.
? 2. Payment Is Held Temporarily
MUGO holds the payment temporarily to ensure:
- The order is delivered successfully
- No disputes or issues arise
? 3. You Fulfill the Order
You are expected to process and deliver the order promptly. Once the order is marked as “Complete” (either by confirmation or verified delivery), the payout process begins.
? 4. You Receive Your Payment
Your earnings (after deducting platform service or transaction fees) are transferred to your chosen payout method:
- Bank account
- Mobile Money account
Payouts may be made weekly or after a standard hold period (usually 3–7 days).
? What You Need to Receive Payments:
- A verified M4B seller account
- A valid bank or Mobile Money account added to your profile
- Compliance with MUGO’s seller policies (e.g. on-time delivery, no disputes)
? Bonus Tip:
Use your M4B dashboard to:
- Track pending, released, and completed payouts
- Download transaction statements
- Monitor your earnings and performance
